Churches

One of the biggest challenges in designing church interiors is proper speech intelligibility. Systems that meet a wide range of needs must be integrated into an acoustically unfavorable environment. The marble floor, stone columns, side walls and glass windows of a church are all hard, sound-reflecting surfaces, so they almost don’t absorb any sound waves at all. Due to the long reverberation time, the audience has difficulties understanding speech. Depending on the specific layout and acoustics of the site, a sound system must be developed that perfectly suits the conditions and meets the needs of the application. The systems are designed to optimize speech intelligibility, coverage, minimize echo, and provide higher volume throughout the range for church bands or private events.
